Every learner sets up the screen they need.

The accessibility menu in the bottom-right of every learner screen lets learners make text bigger, turn on high contrast or add a coloured reading overlay to suit their learning or visual needs. Open it on the example screen below and try it.

  • Text sizeLarge and Extra Large scale every word on every learner screen, not just the body text, so nothing gets left behind at a size they can’t read.
  • High contrastPale grey text turns near-black, borders darken and buttons go bold. Helps learners with low vision or anyone working on a phone in bright light.
  • Reading overlayA coloured tint over the whole screen, in five colours with adjustable strength. Many learners with dyslexia or visual stress find text easier to read on a tint.
  • The learner sets it once from the button in the bottom-right corner. It applies to every page of their portfolio and is remembered on that device, with no need to ask anyone.

Feedback from Rachel, your trainer

Great work on the complaint case study, Ellie. You explained each step clearly and linked it back to the company’s policy. Before our next visit, try writing a short reflection on how you organised the team meeting last week: what went well, and what you would do differently next time.
